Key Responsibilities:
• Design building components while integrating architectural requirements and adhering to codes
• Evaluate design requirements and create construction drawings
• Perform calculations, code research, material and systems analysis
• Conduct site surveys and field reviews to document existing and new construction
• Write engineering specifications for project manuals
• Review project products and shop drawings for quality and code compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design software
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems across multiple building types
• Familiarity with architectural design concepts and building codes
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering
• Registration with a relevant professional engineering association (PE License preferred)
