With a collaborative, multidisciplinary culture and a strong pipeline of sophisticated healthcare work, the Philadelphia team is looking for a Lead Project Architect who can combine technical expertise with design sensitivity and help turn ambitious ideas into exceptionally well-executed buildings.
The Role
As Lead Project Architect, you’ll take a key role in thetechnical development and delivery of healthcare projects, working closely withdesign leaders, project managers, consultants, and clients.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the technical development of projects from designthrough construction documentation
- Establishing documentation and delivery strategies forcomplex healthcare projects
- Translating design concepts into coordinated, buildablearchitectural solutions
- Managing drawing production, detailing, and technicalcoordination
- Coordinating architecture with structural, MEP, medicalplanning, and specialty consultants
- Identifying technical challenges and driving them throughresolution
- Reviewing project documentation for quality, accuracy, andconsistency
- Supporting BIM/Revit coordination across the project team
- Maintaining design intent while balancing constructability,codes, building systems, and project requirements
- Collaborating closely with project leadership to meetschedules and key deliverables
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to architectsand designers
- Participating in construction-phase activities and helping resolve field and documentation issues
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a technically strong architect who also understands the importance of design quality.
You’ll bring:
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Architectural licensure preferred
- Significant experience delivering complex architectural projects
- Strong healthcare project experience
- Excellent knowledge of architectural detailing,documentation, and consultant coordination
- Strong Revit/BIM capabilities
- Knowledge of building systems, codes, materials, and construction methods
- Experience developing and coordinating construction documents
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to lead technical teams while working effectively within an integrated design environment
