They’re looking to add a Senior Technical Project Architectwho can take ownership of the technical delivery of complex projects—from earlydesign development through documentation and construction.
This is an opportunity for an experienced architect whoenjoys solving difficult technical problems, leading teams, and making surestrong design intent translates successfully into built work.
The Role
You’ll act as a senior technical leader across majorarchitectural projects, working alongside project and design leadership whileguiding internal teams and external consultants.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading technical delivery from design development throughconstruction
Directing and reviewing architectural documentation producedby project teams
Coordinating drawings and models across architecture,engineering, specialty consultants, and contractors
Taking ownership of technical detailing, constructability,code compliance, material decisions, and specifications
Establishing and maintaining high standards for Revit/BIMdocumentation
Identifying technical and coordination issues early anddriving them through resolution
Partnering with project leadership to keep deliverablesaligned with scope, schedule, staffing, and budget
Participating in meetings with clients, consultants,contractors, and other project stakeholders
Providing senior-level technical guidance when challengingissues arise
Leading technical activities during construction, includingRFIs, submittal reviews, field observations, and issue resolution
Helping improve firmwide approaches to documentation,quality assurance, and technical delivery
Mentoring architects and designers and helping develop thetechnical capabilities of the wider team
What We’re Looking For
You’ll likely bring:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Professional architectural licensure
15+ years of architectural practice experience
Significant experience delivering large or technicallydemanding projects
At least 5 years working within sectors such as healthcare,research/laboratory, academic, institutional, or similarly complex buildingtypes
Strong experience taking projects through documentation andconstruction
Advanced Revit skills and a strong understanding ofBIM-based project delivery
Deep knowledge of building systems, detailing, constructionmethods, codes, and specifications
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
Confidence communicating with clients, contractors,consultants, and senior project stakeholders
A track record of leading and developing project teams
Strong judgment and the ability to independently resolvecomplex technical challenges
